I am a junior majoring in biomedical sciences with a minor in chemistry. I am also in the UAB Science and Technology Honors College Program. On campus, I am involved in the UAB marching band and I am an active member of the national honorary band sorority Tau Beta Sigma where I serve as the parliamentarian. In the lab I work under Dalton Patterson studying how alternative splicing regulates and impacts the development of C. elegans. After graduation, I hope to attend medical school and obtain an MD as a surgeon.
