I am a sophomore majoring in Chemistry, concentrating in Biochemistry, and minoring in Psychology. I am also a student in the Science and Technology Honors Program here at UAB. My involvement on campus consists of being a Chemistry Scholar, a General Chemistry I and II Teaching Assistant, and Logistic Coordinator for the UAB Middle School Math Tournament. I work under Dr. HeeKyung Lee to study how mitochondria contribute to neuronal development and influence learning and memory in C. elegans. After graduation, I hope to attend Medical School and pursue a MD as a future surgeon.
