I received my B.Sc. in Biology from University of West Florida where I studied photoreceptor regeneration in zebrafish. Currently, as a graduate student my research interest is in understanding molecular mechanisms regulating temporal neuronal maturation during post-natal central nervous system development in mice. After I finish graduate school, I would like to stay in academia and pursue a post-doctorate position.
